Cheesy shells with hamburger. Cheeseburger Pasta

Cheeseburger Pasta

A simple meal packed with rich, cheesy goodness, sure to please all members of the family

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef, venison, or elk
  • 1 16 oz box Pasta shells (or desired shape of pasta)
  • 2 Cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ Cups Whole Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Tbsp All purpose flour
  • ¾ Tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¾ Tsp Onion Powder
  • ½ Tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tsp Salt added to the ground meat
  • Additional Salt and pepper to taste. Start with 1/4 tsp each

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions
  • Brown meat with 1 tsp sea salt. Drain oil
  • While over med/ low heat, sprinkle flour over cooked meat, and add butter to melt. Stir to incorporate.
  • Add milk to pan along with seasonings. Once heated add cheese. Stir slowly as cheese melts and sauce thickens.
  • Pour sauce over pasta and mix it all together!! Enjoy!!
