Homemade Orange Creamsicles

Creamsicle Popsicles (Orange Cream)

Ingredients

Orange Juice Mix

  • 2 ¼ Cup Orange juice
  • ¼ Cup Heavy Cream
  • ⅛ Cup Honey
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of salt

Cream Mix

  • 1 ½ Cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk

Instructions

Make The Orange Layer

  • Add the orange juice, heavy cream, honey, vanilla, and sea salt to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • If you prefer a perfectly smooth creamsicle without any pulp, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer before using.
  • Set aside while you prepare the cream layer.

Make The Cream Layer

  • In a cold mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
  • Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk until fully incorporated. The mixture should be thick, smooth, and creamy.

Assemble The Popsicles

  • Alternate layers of the orange mixture and cream mixture in your popsicle molds. You can keep the layers distinct for that classic creamsicle look or gently swirl them together with a skewer if you'd like a marbled effect.
  • Insert the popsicle sticks. Depending on the mold you are using this may be done before you fill the molds
  • Freeze for at least 6 hours, although overnight will give you the best results.
  • If you're making extras (which I highly recommend), wrap each popsicle individually in freezer-safe popsicle bags or cellophane wrappers before storing them together in a freezer bag. They'll stay fresh much longer and won't stick together.
