Easy Chocolate Sauce

This delicious chocolate sauce makes a wonderful chocolate milk & hot cocoa, or is perfect over ice cream!
Yield is about 1 cup

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ½ Cup Organic cane sugar
  • Cup Very hot water
  • ¼ Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Most of the time I just add all of the ingredients to a mason jar, put the lid on tight, and give it a good shake!
    Alternately, you can add all ingredients to a small sauce pan, and heat over low heat, stirring constantly until all of the sugar has dissolved.
  • I have also made this recipe without the can sugar, and substituted with 1/4 cup honey and 1/4 cup coconut sugar and it was quite delicious!!
  • Store in a mason jar in the refrigerator for about 3 weeks.
  • To make hot chocolate or chocolate milk, add desired amount 1TBSP at a time until you reach desired amount of Chocolatey!

Notes

Chocolate sauce will thicken substantially once refrigerated
