Honey Granola

Easy pantry staple that can be customized to your liking!
Serving Size 3 Quarts Jars

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 6 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 7 cups organic rolled oats
  • If adding nuts substitute 1 cup of oats with your choice of nuts
  • Optional add-ins:
  • Nuts: almonds, pecans, walnuts
  • Seeds: chia, pumpkin, sunflower
  • Dried fruit: cranberries, raisins, apricots, Unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven. Set your oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix the dry ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine: Rolled oats, Nuts or seeds (if using), Cinnamon (optional), Sea salt

Prepare the wet ingredients

  • In a small saucepan or bowl, melt your butter or coconut oil.
  • Stir in: Honey, Maple syrup, Vanilla extract
  • Pour the warm mixture over the dry ingredients. Stir until the oats are evenly coated and glossy.
  • Spread the granola into a single even layer on your baking sheet.
  • Press it down gently with a spatula if you like big clusters.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until lightly golden and fragrant.

Cool Completely

  • This is the secret to crunchy clusters: Do not stir it while cooling. Let it sit until completely cooled and crisp.
  • Once cooled, break it apart gently and toss in any dried fruit you’d like.

How to Store Homemade Granola

Granola keeps beautifully:
  • Room temperature: up to 2 weeks in an airtight container
  • Freezer: up to 3 months (freeze flat first, then store in a bag)It stays crunchy, fresh, and perfect for topping yogurt or grabbing by the handful.
