- If adding nuts, substitute 1/2 cup of oats with your choice of nuts

3. Prepare the wet ingredients
In a small saucepan or bowl, melt your butter or coconut oil.
Stir in:
- Honey
- Maple syrup
- Vanilla extract

Pour the warm mixture over the dry ingredients. Stir until the oats are evenly coated and glossy.
5. Spread + bake
Spread the granola into a single even layer on your baking sheet.
Press it down gently with a spatula if you like big clusters.
