Farmhouse Mulled Cider Recipe

Ingredients

  • ยฝ gallon fresh apple cider
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • ยฝ tsp whole allspice (or ยผ tsp ground)
  • ยผ tsp sea salt
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 4 slices fresh orange

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a heavy pot (or a crockpot if youโ€™d like to keep it warm for serving).
  2. Heat until the cider begins to simmer. Reduce to low and let it gently simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove the cloves and orange slices.
  4. Return to the pot to keep warm, or ladle into mugs and serve right away.

Simmer Pot Mulled Cider

This delicious mulled cider not only tastes like fall, but will have your house smelling amazing!

  • ยฝ Tsp Whole all spice or 1/4 tsp ground
  • ยผ Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Pinch Ground Nutmeg
  • 4 Slices Fresh orange

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients to a heavy pot (Can also be made in a crockpot)
  2. Heat until it starts to simmer, and let simmer on low for 15 min
  3. Strain through a strainer to remove the pieces of orange and cloves. You can return to the pot to keep warm or serve.

Notes

Add some of your favorite red wine to the pot to create hot spiced wine!!
