Homemade Chocolate Covered Raisins

My Husband requested homemade Raisinets…

These are better than Raisinets 😉

So simple, with only 3 ingredients! I like to use organic chocolate chips and raisins, making them such a clean easy snack/ candy for my family!!

A few things to note:

These don’t have a wax coating (on purpose) like store bought chocolate covered raisins, so if you hold them in you hand for an extended period they will melt.

I like to store them in a glass container with a lid. They do fine at room temperature.

To Make:

  • Heat chocolate chips and butter over low heat in a sauce pan, stirring constantly until completely melted.
  • Pour raisins into chocolate and stir until the raisins are all completely covered with chocolate
  • Pour onto parchment paper spreading as you pour. Using a spatula or spoon spread them around the parchment as best as you can.
  • Place in the freezer for 20 min. You can also use the refrigerator, but they will take longer to harden.
